ALMA
A shared mechanism. A family of chairs.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER & DESIGNER
I develop physical products from early concept through prototype, testing, and production—with an emphasis on elegant mechanisms, intuitive interaction, and practical manufacturability.
Concept → prototype → product
Different contexts. The same practical curiosity.
A visual sketchbook of mechanisms, materials, and making.
Mechatronics · Two-week working prototype
Set the motion. Let the system run.
Physical prototyping · Tunable balance
Tune the challenge through geometry.
Modular construction · Lighting concept
A small collection, thoughtfully displayed.
Mechanism exploration · Physical prototype
More function from a simple elastic element.

04 / ABOUT FRANK
My path to product development began with hands-on fabrication. More than a decade in orthotics and prosthetics taught me to connect material choices, fit, and mechanical function to the person using the finished device.
I went on to earn a B.S. in Engineering Technology from the University of West Florida and now work in product development, bringing that same physical understanding to mechanisms, prototypes, and manufacturable designs.
I’m drawn to simple mechanisms, geometry and materials that do useful work, and the lessons that only show up when you build and test something.
