Function

Build around the moment of use.

Ambient-light and motion/vibration sensing eliminate unnecessary modes and button presses. The prototype electronics remain large and accessible for circuit modification. A proposed magnetic charging connection could release when the user moves away.

THE TAKEAWAY

Begin with the person, the environment, and the small interaction that can make a product useful.
